The Tate Township Trustees will hold a joint Special Meeting together with the Zoning Commission and the Board of Zoning Appeals at 6:30 PM on Tuesday, July 1, 2025 at the Bethel-Tate Fire Department located at 149 N East St Bethel, OH 45106.
The purpose of this joint working group meeting is to view and discuss the feedback received from the recent public engagement events focused on the Comprehensive Land Use Plan , and to discuss the Zoning Resolution modifications and examine portions of the draft updates the planning consultant has assembled. Members of the public are encouraged to attend.

Notice is hereby given that the TATE TOWNSHIP ZONING COMMISSION will hold a PUBLIC HEARING on Zoning Case 1876SB, initiated by Resolution 2025-527 of the Board of Trustees of Tate Township, to hear and make recommendations on the proposed Zoning Text Amendment to the Tate Township Zoning Resolution to ADD A DEFINITION for “Office Use” to Article III and to ADD “Office Use” as a PERMITTED USE under Article VI Section 5. Commercial “C-1” District. Upon conclusion of this PUBLIC HEARING the matter will be submitted to the Board of Trustees of Tate Township for its action.
This PUBLIC HEARING will be held July 1, 2025, 6:00 PM in the Tate Township Fire Department Meeting Room at 149 N. East St. Bethel, Ohio 45106. Notice is hereby given that the TATE TOWNSHIP BOARD OF TRUSTEES will hold a PUBLIC HEARING on Zoning Case 1847SB, initiated by resolution 2025-0408 of the Board of Trustees of Tate Township, to HEAR PUBLIC INPUT, and to CONSIDER the RECOMMENDATIONS of the TATE TOWNSHIP ZONING COMMISSION and the CLERMONT COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION, on the Zoning Map Amendment to REZONE three parcels from Commercial “C-1” to Agricultural “A”.

Bethel Gets Mural Celebrating America 250
On July 4th, 2026, America will celebrate its 250th birthday. There will be activities throughout entire year of 2026 to celebrate the birthday of our Nation’s independence.
Bethel’s Ben Franklin building is getting a large mural that will honor the service members, police, and firefighters from our community’s proud history. Traveling artist Ben Harrison showed his design for his America 250 mural with guests at the Grant Career Center in Bethel and is currently sketching it out on the side facing the museum. Once completed, Bethel’s mural will be one of seven that will be on display on buildings in Clermont County during 2026 in Milford, Loveland, New Richmond, Williamsburg, and Miami and Union townships.
Another artist is honoring Clermont County’s native son President Ulysses S. Grant. Cincinnati sculptor Tom Tsuchiya shared a model of his statue depicting President Grant, 19th century Commissioner of Indian Affairs Ely Parker and abolitionist and statesman Frederick Douglass. This three-person bronze statue will be placed on the front grounds of the Bethel Historical Museum in April, 2026.
It is exciting to have both the mural being painted and the statue coming to Bethel to help us celebrate America 250 in 2026

Suite B Lexington, KY 40511 for installation of a PRIVATE GROUND MOUNT SOLAR ENERGY SYSTEM located at 3173 Reisinger Rd Bethel, OH 45106, Clermont County P.I.N. 323019E008 consisting of 5.58 acres in an Agricultural “A” District. The requested VARIANCE from Article VI Section 14.6(B)(1) of the Tate Township Zoning Resolution, as amended July, 2024, is to allow the construction in the side yard forward of the rear building line of the principle residential structure.
