
Notice is hereby given that the TATE TOWNSHIP BOARD OF TRUSTEES will hold a PUBLIC HEARING on Thursday April 17, 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Bethel-Tate Fire Department located at 149 N East St Bethel, OH 45106.
The purpose is to hold the continuation of the hearing and for consideration of updated documentation on Zoning Case 1794SB, an Application for an Amendment to the Tate Township Zoning Map, submitted by Axel Enterprises 4026 Bach Buxton Rd Batavia, OH 45103. The proposed Amendment is to REZONE Parcel ID 323016A055 consisting of 11.523 Acres owned by Gary Reed & Kathleen A. Gregory from “A” to “C-3”. No other business will be heard by the Board on this date.
The Application and documents will be made available for public viewing on April 4, 2025 by 9:00 AM at the Tate Township Fire Department 149 N. East St. Bethel, Ohio 45106. Requests for further information may be directed to the Tate Township Zoning Department at 513-734-0618.

The Tate Township Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a special meeting at 5:30 PM on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at the Bethel-Tate Fire Department located at 149 N East St Bethel, OH 45106. The purpose of the meeting is to hold an organization meeting of the Board of Zoning Appeals, discuss the rules of procedure for meetings and hearings, and to set the regular meeting dates and submittal deadlines schedule for the remainder of 2025. No zoning applications will be considered or heard at this public meeting.

The Tate Township Trustees will hold a joint Special Meeting together with the Zoning Commission and the Board of Zoning Appeals at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, February 18th, 2025 at the Bethel-Tate Fire Department located at 149 N East St Bethel, OH 45106. The purpose of this joint meeting is to discuss the forthcoming Comprehensive Land Use Plan and subsequent modifications to the Zoning Resolution.
The Tate Township Trustees will hold a special meeting at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, February 11th, 2025 at the Bethel-Tate Fire Department located at 149 N East St Bethel, OH 45106. The purpose of the meeting is to interview candidates for the open seat on the Board of Zoning Appeals. The Regular meeting will proceed thereafter at 7:00 PM.
We were fortunate to receive a kick-off presentation by Andy Juengling from McBride, Dale, Clarion. MDC is the planning consultant firm that has been engaged to complete Tate Township’s first ever Comprehensive Land Use & Development Plan, and the subsequent updating and modernization of our Zoning Resolution.
