Bethel Area Patriotic Decorating Contest
We are in the 250th year since the signing of our Declaration of Independence on July 4th, 1776. This is a nationwide celebration that every state and small community are joining.
Our Village of Bethel is a designated America 250 Community and a local committee is planning a church service to open the festivities on 7/10/26 in Burke Park and a day long celebration on 7/11/2026. There are many contests being planned. One that involves everyone who lives here is the America 250 Bethel Decorating Contest. There are several themes to compete in. It is open to every residence and Business. Check out the flyer below.

2026 Township Clean Up Dates
The 2026 Tate Township clean up dates are Friday 6/26/26 and Saturday 6/27/26. Hours on both dates will be 7:00am to 5:00pm.
Items may be dropped off from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm by Tate residents only. IDs will be checked for verification.
There are a few prohibited items including yard waste and liquid paint. Mattresses MUST be covered in plastic. There will be a fee for each tire based on the size. Fees will be collected at time of drop off and need to be in cash.
Address of Tate Township Maintenance drop-off site is 2655 Spring Street, Bethel.
ODOT Update for 275
I-275 Nightly Lane Closures
Hamilton County (Monday, January 12, 2026) – Nightly single lane closures will be in effect on I-275 in both directions between the U.S. Route 52 and Five Mile Road interchanges beginning Monday January 12th. These lane closures will take place Monday, January 12th through Thursday, January 15th between the hours of 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. This work is weather permitting.
Motorists are reminded of the need for additional caution when traveling through the work zone.
