The Adams Clermont Solid Waste District will hold discounted Tire Collection Days on May 15 and May 18 with help from a grant from the Ohio EPA. There is no charge for the first 10 tires per household; after that customers will be charged $2 per tire. The district will accept passenger, truck, and tractor tires both on and off the rim. Methods of payment include cash or credit card.
In Clermont County, Tire Collection Day will be from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on May 18 at the Jackson Township Lot, 3341 U.S. Hwy 50, Williamsburg, OH 45176. The district will not collect tires from junk yards, trucking, or other companies, but can assist businesses in finding recycling options for proper tire management.

The Bethel-Tate Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary will hold their annual Quarter Auction this month. On Thursday, April 25, 2019 at the Bethel-Tate Middle School. Bidding starts at 7:00 pm and doors open for seating and food at 6:00 pm.
The Ladies Auxiliary has raised several thousands of dollars to purchase needed items for the BTFD which also saves the taxpayers money. They are all volunteers that care deeply about this community. They support the BTFD throughout the year and this is their main fundraiser. Please come out on 4/25 to the middle school to spend your quarters, enjoy good fun, and have some fun!
Grant Career Center is having its annual Community Appreciation Day on Saturday, May 4, 2019 with the CRUISE IN – 3:00 to 5:00 pm; DINNER – 4:00 to 6:30 pm; & FREE COUNTRY CONCERT – 6:30 pm.. Tickets for dinner are $5.00 each for a buffet of ham, chicken, and fish. They can be purchased at the dinner or in advance from any current or former board member.

Duke Energy’s project to replace 20 wooden utility poles with steel poles on Bethel-New Richmond Road is scheduled from March 4th to May 6th.
Road closure times are 8 a.m.-2:15 p.m.; 4 p.m.-dusk Monday through Thursday. 7 a.m.-dusk on Saturday & Sunday. Duke will have an 8 mile/ 20 minute detour posted.
