Special Meeting For Police Levy

The Tate Township trustees met on June 26, 2019 for a Special meeting to discuss the details of putting a police on the November 2019 ballot for voters.  After a discussion, the Trustees authorized placing a 5 year term levy for police services with a millage of .40.  If passed, this will be an annual cost to property owners of about $14 for a home value of $100,000.

Cost of Clean-Up Days 2019

Tate Township recently held its clean-up days in July 2019.  Special thanks to all the trustees, Deputy Eric Pike, the Clermont County Municipal Court for providing additional workers, Tate Township maintenance department for working extra hours, and Wayne Simpson for providing food for the workers.

We encourage all residents to use regular trash removal service.  Currently, residents can call Rumpke to get curbside trash and recycle pick-up for $19.25 per month.  Rumpke will introduce every-other-week curbside recycling collection to be included with the current customer’s trash service for a monthly rate of $19.25. Residents over age 65 should ask for a reduced rate of $17.25. You do not have to rent the Rumpke containers if you already have garbage bins. You can call Rumpke at 1-800-828-8171 or email them at ClermontCounty@rumpke.com.

The stats for 2019 are as follows:

  • 4 Roll-offs were used to collect 17.35 tons of trash at a cost of $1,821.23
  • 10 Compactor Trucks were used to collect 80.14 tons of garbage costing $7,464.81
