BTFD Recognized By American Heart Association

At the regular July Trustee meeting, representatives from Clermont Mercy Hospital were on hand to see Bethel-Tate’s Fire Department receive the 2019 Mission: Lifeline EMS Recognition Award from the American Heart Association.  This achievement award is given to EMS provider organizations that demonstrate continued success in using the Mission Lifeline program. Translated, that means that BTFD uses evidence-based treatment guidelines and interventions that improve patient care and outcomes in the community they serve.

This program recognizes EMS teams across the nation for their vital role for offering timely treatment to heart patients. There were only 2 departments in Clermont County that received this recognition – Tate Township and Miami Township. Congratulations!
