Tate Township, Ohio

Free tire drop-off during the clean-up days was met with enthusiasm.  Tate Township was the recipient of a grant so that residents would not have a fee this year for dropping off their used tires.

After 2 full days with lines of trucks and trailers hauling unwanted items to the Tate Maintenance yard, at least 8 dumpsters were filled and 9 trash compactor trucks totaling 108 tons were hauled away. Every year, the Trustees designate 2 days for residents to throw it away for free as a service provided by the Township.
