
Grant Career Center is having its annual Community Appreciation Day on Saturday, May 4, 2019 with the CRUISE IN – 3:00 to 5:00 pm; DINNER – 4:00 to 6:30 pm; & FREE COUNTRY CONCERT – 6:30 pm.. Tickets for dinner are $5.00 each for a buffet of ham, chicken, and fish. They can be purchased at the dinner or in advance from any current or former board member.

Duke Energy’s project to replace 20 wooden utility poles with steel poles on Bethel-New Richmond Road is scheduled from March 4th to May 6th.
Road closure times are 8 a.m.-2:15 p.m.; 4 p.m.-dusk Monday through Thursday. 7 a.m.-dusk on Saturday & Sunday. Duke will have an 8 mile/ 20 minute detour posted.

The Bethel-Tate Fire Department has been awarded an Assistance to Firefighters Grant for the purchase of thirty-six (36) self contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) that meet NFPA 1981 (2013 ed.) and fourteen (14) additional self-contained breathing apparatus face pieces. Sealed bids will be received at the Bethel-Tate Fire Department, 149 N. East St., Bethel, Ohio by 8:00 AM, December 26, 2018. All bids are to be marked “Bid-2018”. The contract will be awarded to the lowest and best bidder as determined by the Township Trustees.
