This post was on Clermont County’s web page. It may be too late, but might be worth checking to see if any trees are left.
Attention Bethel Area Residents!
This spring, we are distributing free trees to landowners in the Bethel area with help from our partners and grant funding from Ohio Division of Forestry.
Residents can find out if they are eligible by going to OKI’s Tree for Me tool (www.oki.org/tree-for-me/), clicking on “Active Tree Distributions” and entering their address. Trees are first come-first serve. All species are non-ALB host species including oaks, beech, basswood and more.
Pickup is on Friday, May 15 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and on Saturday, May 16 from 9 a.m. to noon, at the Village of Bethel maintenance garage, 139 South Charity Street (enter from Tower Alley).
