Fiscal Office

The Fiscal Offier is elected by the voters of Tate Township. The main responsibility of the Fiscal Officer is to manage the finances of the Township. This includes paying the bills, accounting for all financial transactions, following all the rules and regulations for appropriating and purchasing goods and services as needed by the Township.

The Ohio Revised Code 507.01 establishes the duties and responsibilities of the Fiscal Officer. The Fiscal Officer is elected to a four-year term that commences on the first day of April following the election.
