Notice is hereby given that the BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF TATE TOWNSHIP will hold a PUBLIC HEARING on Zoning Case 1927SB, initiated by Resolution 2025-1028 of the Board of Trustees of Tate Township, to hear and make recommendations on the proposed Amendment to the Official Zoning Map of the Tate Township Zoning Resolution.

This PUBLIC HEARING will be held January 5, 2025, 7:00 PM in the Tate Township Fire Department Meeting Room at 149 N East St Bethel, Ohio 45106.
The subject properties of the proposed amendment are:

  • 3435 State Route 125 Bethel, OH 45106, owned by Battista Realty & Investments LLC, to be REZONED from Residential “R-2” District to Commercial “C-2” District;
  • 3431 State Route 125 Bethel, OH 45106, owned by Cathy A Willoughby, to be REZONED from Residential “R-2” District to Commercial “C-1” District;
  • 3427 State Route 125 Bethel, OH 45106, owned by All American Building Company Inc, to be REZONED from Residential “R-2” District to Commercial “C-1” District.

The resolution and maps for the proposed Amendment will be available for review during normal business hours at the Tate Township Zoning Department located at 146 N East St Bethel, OH 45106. Due to a missed deadline for posting of a Public Notice for the previously announced meeting of the Joint Zoning Working Group originally scheduled for 12/17/25 6:30 PM the meeting has been cancelled. New announcements and Public Notice will be posted if and when the meeting is rescheduled.

The Tate Township Trustees will hold a SPECIAL MEETING at 5:30 PM on Friday, December 19, 2025, in the Bethel-Tate Fire Department meeting room located at 149 N East Street, Bethel, OH 45106. The purpose of this meeting is to meet with the Fire Department Union representatives to discuss the Fire Department Union contract and to amend the 2025 appropriations.

– Special Meeting of Zoning Commission 11/19/25 6:30 PM

The Tate Township Zoning Commission will hold a SPECIAL MEETING November 19, 2025, 6:30 PM at the Bethel-Tate Fire Department located at 149 N East St Bethel, OH 45106.

The purpose of this SPECIAL MEETING is to host a joint working group session together with representatives from the Board of Trustees and the Board of Zoning Appeals. The joint working group will be reviewing and discussing updated drafts of zoning resolution. These, and future discussions, will be used to aid the Planning & Zoning Consultant, MDC, in continuing to revise drafts of proposed updates to the Tate Township Zoning Resolution. No formal action will be taken at this meeting.

Members of the public are encouraged to attend.
