Burkefest, Tate Township 220th, & Scout Room Dedication

There is a lot going on in Bethel this Saturday 8/30/25.

  • Start on the front lawn of the Bethel Historical Museum at 10:00am, enjoy the flag raising at 10:00am to dedicate the opening of the newly finished Scout Room, located on the 2nd floor, directly across from the Military Room. The Scout Room is now cleaned up, with new carpet, paint, and displays  The museum will remain open until 4:00pm, offering free tours the entire day. If you haven’t been to the Bethel Museum lately, you’re missing out!
  • Celebrate the 220th Anniversary of Tate Township while at Burkefest this Saturday 8/30/25 beginning at 3:00pm. Tate Township was founded 220 years ago in 1805. The township will be giving out free hot dogs, while they last!
  • Burkefest runs from 3:00pm to 8:00pm in Burke Park, Bethel. Burkefest is a family event sponsored by the Village of Bethel.  There will be music, vendors, food trucks, cake decorating contest, and kids activites starting at 3:00pm.  In addition, there will be a petting zoo, kickball tournament, and the Kenny Welch Band!

All events are free to attend and fun is optional!!
