2024 Solar Eclipse April 8th

The solar eclipse, on April 8th, will be visible across the 124 mile band that crosses to the west and north side of Cincinnati.  This is the first time in 200 years that that the eclipse’s path is in our area. According to the Cincinnati Enquirer, the people in Greater Cincinnati will experience a partial totality (99.7% obscuration) at 3:09pm that day. Those of us in Clermont County will need to travel North or West to see the total eclipse.

The NASA interactive map of the path of the solar eclipse for 2024 can be found on the NASA site through this link: https://science.nasa.gov/eclipses/future-eclipses/eclipse-2024/
